Hi, I’m Skye — a parent, a creative, and the heart behind Creative Wellness Boost.
I believe that when we give ourselves space to slow down and create, something really special happens — we reconnect, we feel calmer, and we remember who we are.
Creative Wellness Boost is all about helping families find moments of calm and connection through mindful, art-based practices. Whether it’s doodling side-by-side, painting to music, or simply creating something with your hands, it’s a beautiful way to relax, be present, and share time together.
Whether you’re a parent looking for gentle ways to support your child’s wellbeing, or a community organisation wanting to offer something meaningful and inclusive, you’re in the right place.
As a parent and a creative, I know we all need to shine, not just our kids. That’s why our workshops and resources are designed for everyone, no matter your experience. It’s not about being ‘good at art’ — it’s about slowing down with mindfulness techniques, creating from the heart, and enjoying the creative process.
I bring to this work a rich and varied background in design, music, coaching, and community engagement. I hold a Bachelor of Design (Queensland College of Art) and a Diploma of Popular Music and Performance (JMC Academy). I also have experience in workshop facilitation and event planning, including school holiday programs and two-hour to full-day creative sessions.
I’m a certified Coach and am currently studying a Diploma of Creative Arts and Health with the University of Tasmania. My focus is on how creative expression supports wellbeing across all life stages — from babies to aged care — and this continues to shape the way I design and deliver meaningful arts-based experiences.
